Sunset District Like its counterpart, the Richmond District (see p101), this neighborhood was part of the Outer Lands and is purely residential, consisting of row upon row of neat, look alike houses. Yet, like the entire area along the ocean, sea palace market this district is subject to a great deal of gray weather. Golden Gate Theater This former movie house, designed with Moorish influ ences in the 1920s, is one of the larger mainstream theaters.
